As holidays season comes to an end, we would like to express our sincere thoughts and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sometimes, life can be challenging... You try to do your best but you can't see your efforts being rewarded. As for us, university can be tough. Blocus is here and finals are coming, but we shouldn't stop believing in us. No matter what we do, we are in control of our own life. It may take some time to reach our goals, but everything is worth it. The struggle is real, but do never forget the purpose of your journey.
We tend to accept what life has to offer for us with no complains. We get up in the morning, go to work, come home and sleep. It' has become a routine, a habit to the point that we don't even question our interests anymore. We have many dreams but it seems impossible to achieve them. Because we have responsibilities we have to cover first. It may be stressful to not being able to enjoy as you want or not having the guts to take over the situation. But as Paulo Coelho has written in The Alchemist : "Don't give in to your fears. If you do, you won't be able to talk to your heart... When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”
Never forget to love what you do, because you do it for your own sake.
As for #9teayouth, we try our best to not concede it because of school :) We are finally with some winter related videos. And the first one is a Xmas Gift Swap!

Mae got me a Aimee Song's book that I have my eye one since its launch! Aimee Song is one of my fashion inspiration and I'm so excited to read it! The second gift she got me is that chocker set. I'm such a late trendy blogger when it is about the choker. I always love the way they look on others but never try one before. Actually, the first one that I bought is the black one I'm wearing in the gift swap video, that I purchased two weeks ago! So happy to try those cute pink ones.
I was so inspired by some Korean street style trends I've seen lately on IG. Fashion is what have brought us together so I wanted to share that with her. First, I got some clothes that are 70s inspired: a flare jeans with raw hem and a silky colorful blouse. Then for accessories, I found that cute feather arm bracelet and those telephone line hairties. And finally for beauty, a panda sheet masks could be forgotten and to stay on that "trendy" theme, I had to put in the package a matte burgundy lipstick!

Hopefully you had an amazing holiday,
We wish you the best for 2017,
Jenni & Mae
Ps: NYE outfits video very soon!
