Layering in winter

As winter is being much more prominent, we want to share some of our favorites winter outfits! From casual to a more classy look, our range of looks are quite diverse. We like to mix patterns and textures, so here's our lookbook video :)

When you tend to spend time with someone, you unconsciously becoming a lil bit like them. Whenever we meet to film our outfits, we discover that we were kind of coordinated. Therefore, involuntary, we find ourselves to have thematic outfits! :D (click on the pictures for more details).

First outfits: the news paper boy

Of course, when we think about winter outfits, we think about winter accessories, right? Therefore, we create outfits based on our hat/beanie.

For Jenn, beret is a must! It gives a french chic look and that's why she wanted to balance that with casual clothes. On the contrary Mae stays with the classic city look by pairing it with a simple gray coat and derbies.

Second outfits: everyday city girl

For the second outfits, we visited the Docks (a mall in the capital). We wanted to show you how we wear a simple classic white button up in winter.

Third outfits: grey is the new black

Finally in our last outfits, we found ourselves wearing the same color pattern. Grey, blue, black, white seems to be the go to colors for winter season haha!

We love to wear summer type clothes in winter. Mae shows how we can layer a dress for cold weather. Wearing a jumper under a dress is such a trend we mostly have seen in asian street style. It gives a cute look while still being confortable and warm. As for Jenn, a winter look can not be a warm outfit without some faux fur. This coat is quite a statement, so she wanted to stay simple for her outfit by paring black skinnies with a regular sweater.
