With 20°C+ outside, it is sometimes hard to dress prettily because of the suffocating heat. Layering is such a no-no in this case and therefore, we usually opt for a simple tee/shorts outfit, right? Comfort is essential, but here I will show you some of my favorite summer outfits - a combination of trendy pieces and comfort.
American Ulzzang

.
My first outfit is based around the classic high-waisted denim shorts. Few years ago, I remembered how popular they were in the USA. High-waisted and crop tops have become the go-to summer look. But since it was a bit chilly out there, I paired it with an oversized Vintage Levi's jumper. Then I wore my flatforms sandals to elongate my legs and give my outfit a corcky feel.

II.feel like this outfit is quite a nice mix between the classic American and the Ulzzang trend that went one in the 2000s.

Cool June
.

My second outfit is more of a City Look. Culottes have been quite trendy those last couple years, plus they are comfortable! I couldn't have a summer outfit without them. I paired mine with a classic shirt for a polished look and to give more peps to this "strict" look, I went with my silver buckled sandals!

Tropical July
.
During my trip to the Philippines, I had different occasions to dress-up. But being in a humid country is quite fashion challenging. Therefore, trying to look ok while still managing to support the heat can be such an obstacle to overcome. For a more put-together look, I chose to wear light weight clothing pieces such as this sheer bell arm white top and layered a thin cut-out baby blue dress with animals on it. To finish this Preppy Style, I wore my favorite nude heels.

Bbq Season

Summer means BBQ! As a foodie, I wanted to wear something large at the bottom but still look put together since it is still a barbecue party! A bohemian look is my safe bet when it is hot and sunny outside. For this event, I paired my bohemian blouse with a denim culottes for a 70s vibe and the same nude block heels.

Persimmon Palette
I like to wear pink, especially during warmer days! Thus, my fifth favorite summer outfit is based on this straight cut pink dress. For a Safari Chic Vibe, I threw on a khaki vest and bohemian necklaces. Finally, I wore the same nude heels as the previous outfit and accessorized with my go-to wrist clutch.

Rockin' Stripes
Sometimes, I feel like going on the edgier side. When it is the case, I go for a Festival Rock look. My last outfit tried to capture the holidays vibe and the edginess of parties. I wore an asymmetrical striped dress and to tone down the nautical feel, I wore a black wrist clutch and lace-up open toes boots that match the cut outs at the hem of the dress.

I hope those outfits give you some fashion inspiration (´∀`)
